We are the part before the insurance company

What we do

We publish market rate data by state and ZIP code so you can see whether your current premium is normal or badly out of line. If you want to act on that, we pass your details to licensed carriers and agencies that write policies where you live, and they quote you directly.

That is the entire service. We are deliberately narrow about it.

What we are not

We are not an insurance company, agency, or broker. We hold no insurance licence, we do not issue policies, we do not set premiums, we do not accept premium payments, and we have no say in whether a claim gets paid. Everything that actually constitutes insurance is done by the licensed carriers you end up speaking with.

We also do not rank carriers by who pays us most and call it a recommendation. Where we show a price, it is a market figure or a carrier's own quote, not an editorial pick.

How the money works

Carriers and agencies pay us a fixed referral fee when we connect them with a driver who is genuinely shopping. You are never charged, and the fee does not come out of your premium. It is the same arrangement that funds every comparison site in this category. We would rather write it down plainly than let you guess.
